PPPoker App Review – Join Private Asian Poker Clubs

0 comments 14 February 2019, 14:30

PPPoker is one of the leading mobile poker apps on the Asian market and it offers real money games in private poker clubs. Among the games included you will find the Texas Hold’em and the Pot Limit Omaha, which are quite new to Chinese players, thus PPPoker is a place with soft games and plenty of fish.

Overall it is a fun and enjoyable place to play, where beginners can learn and gain experience, while experienced players can make good profits. The interface looks nice and the payments are fast and reliable.

The installation and set-up are simple but a bit different than how you might be used. First download and install the app from Google Play or the App Store of Apple. Then open the app and register for a new account. Enter the desired email and password and once you are set up, go to the “Club” tab. In order to play real money games, you must enter a club. Enter the ID of the desired club, click on “Apply” and then you will be able to play.

Games & Buy ins

The available games are the No Limit Texas Holdem, the Pot Limit Omaha and the Open Face Chinese Poker. They offer both cash games and tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from $ 0.3 / $ 0.6 to $ 15 / $ 30 (for cash games) and from $ 0.3 to $ 10 (for multi table tournaments).

The traffic on PPPoker is quite good and growing at a fast pace. Even the higher limit games have plenty of traffic, so you will find plenty of action at any hour of the day or night.

The app has a nice graphic and it’s compatible with all smartphones and tablets, whether they run on iOS or Android. You can easily navigate through the lobby and access all the needed features.

On the mobile devices you can only play one table at a time, but if you use an emulator and play it on a PC, you will then be able to play multiple tables as well.

The software works smoothly, without any major bugs, and the game play takes place in the portrait mode. This way you won’t need to tilt your phone and all the buttons are easily accessible (you can play with just one hand).

Unfortunately, you can’t use tracking tools like Poker Tracker 4 or Holdem Manager 2, but they do offer plenty of features and statistics. If you want to see them for your opponents as well, you must buy the “Black Card” in the shop.

When it comes to private Asian Poker Clubs, there are many to choose from. Some of the best are the Club 10 Bath, the Bang Bang Club, the Sands Club, the Poker Heroes, the Bookit, the PPPoker Thai or the Thailand Alliance.

PPPoker Rake

The standard rake for No Limit Holdem and Pot Limit Omaha is 5 %, with a cap of 3 big blinds below NL 200 and a cap of 2 big blinds at NL 200 and above. For the Open Face Chinese Poker, the rake is 3 % with a cap of 3 points.

Payment Options

When it comes to deposits and withdrawals, you can use Neteller or Skrill. Cashouts are processed in maximum 3 days.
